About Us

In his 20 years of experience, Er Toh Han Lin has been working on a wide range of civil and structural engineering projects in Singapore and overseas. He has been involved in institutional, commercial, residential and infrastructure development projects. Throughout his career, Han Lin has proven his value to the companies with his capability to fulfill his required roles and achieving his project targets. He has also demonstrated strong abilities in analysis and coordination through many large scale complex projects that have been placed under his charge. These include the design review of the iconic Zayed National Museum in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE; Gardens by the Bay at Marina South and the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites in Somerset Road. In the process of working through the projects, Han Lin has been exposed to different aspects of civil engineering including medium-rise structures, pre-cast concrete structures, steel structures, infrastructure works and marine structures, thus providing him with valuable knowledge on different areas of engineering. He was registered as a Professional Engineer in April 2009 and has taken on the role of a Qualified Person (QP) for many different projects. He obtained his Design for Safety Professional (DfSP) qualification in February 2016. During the course of his academic studies, Han Lin has also been awarded the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal in 2001 for his B.Eng. degree and the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Gold Medal in 2005 for his M.Sc. degree. He has successfully completed the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC)Young Professionals Management Training Programme in 2006 which aims to develop leadership, communication skills, intercultural understanding, new approaches to understanding management challenges, and familiarity with industry activities through participation in the FIDIC annual conference. This course has imparted Han Lin with valuable knowledge on the international consulting business environment as well as management of projects across different cultures. In November 2008, Han Lin was nominated as the first Chairman of the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) Young Professionals Connection (YPC) which is the youth wing of ACES that aims to encourage graduates to take up the consulting engineering profession and also to promote advancement of young professionals in the industry.
